Membership Registration and Profile

Membership registration allows alumni to access all of the features available on the website. As a registered member, a user can maintain their own detailed profile.

Alumni Database

The alumni database is a listing of all member profiles. The database can be searched on by name, graduation year, city, and state. Members can instantly send an email message or private message to any other member directly through the website.

Photo Gallery

Users can upload photos to the photo gallery and supply a caption to go along with the photo. Their photos will appear on the website photo gallery with other user submitted photos. A uses photo can also be viewed by clicking on a link from their profile.

Memorial Database

The memorial database is a place to post death notices. Members can view an obituary or other notes about the deceased alumni. Memorials can be managed by the Memorial Database administrator. Members of the website can submit a memorial request that can be approved and posted by the website administrator.

Reunions

An upcoming reunion section allows website administrators to post information about upcoming reunions.

News and Announcements

The News section of the website is the perfect place to post news and announcements about alumni and the school. Keep alumni informed of other alumni successes. News can be added by the site administrator. Members of the website can submit their own news to be approved by the administrator before it is actually posted to the website.

Groups

An unlimited number of groups can be added for website members to join. Groups can be created as public or private. A website member can join any public group. Private groups require approval to join by the group administrator. The group administrator can approve join requests, moderate the message board and manage the groups members. Website members can view a listing of available groups.

A member of a group has the following options:

Access to the group's homepage
View a listing of group member's profiles.
Post topics and messages to the group's message board

Calendar of Events and Registration

The website includes a calendar of events that members can view to be kept up to date on upcoming events and gatherings. Events are managed by the website administrator. An event can be placed into multiple categories for website members to view.

Website administrators can activate registration for an event. A registration end date can be supplied and registration is automatically closed when the date passes. An email address can be supplied to send registration notices to.

Jobs and Careers

The career center module is a place for members to view job postings, submit their resume, view other member’s resumes, and submit their own job posting for the website administrator to post on the website.

Professional Business Directory

The professional directory is a collection of all member submitted business listings. Members can submit their business listing and include business name, address, contact details, website link, description of services and type of industry. Registered members of the website can search the professional directory by industry type, name and location.

Secure Online Donations

Included with your website is a domain name of your choice. You tell us the domain name you would like to have, and we'll take care of seeing if it is available, registering the domain, and renewing it when it comes up for renewal. The domain name will owned by your organization. Yearly renewal fees will be included free of charge as long as you keep the service

FREE Website Hosting

Hosting for your website is included in the monthly fee for the website service.

Custom Site Design

You will get a custom designed site to match any color scheme of your choice. Your website can be branded to match an existing website for your school. Your schools logo or other images can be placed in the header of the website.

Site Usage Statistics

Site stats are available to show you how popular certain pages are on your website. You will be able to view the number of page visits, user login counts, total number of registered members, new members, recently updated profiles, etc.

Customizable Menu

The navigation menu of the website is completely controllable by the website’s content administrator. The menu items/links can be renamed, reordered, and hidden/activated.

Website Content Management System

All content on the website can be updated by the website content administrator. Easily create new pages in the administration section and supply your your own custom content to the pages.

Multi-User Administration

The website can be managed by multiple website administrators.

Website administrators can be created by the master website administrator. Each administrator can be assigned one or more module that they are responsible for administering. For example, one administrator can be created to manage the career center and professional directory while another can be created to manage only the reunions.

Email notifications are sent only to appropriate website administrators to notify them of new information requests, such as job postings, business listings, memorial submission.

The multiple administrator functionality allows your website to easily be maintained by a number of people with different responsibilities.

Mass Email and Newsletters

Site administrators will have the ability to send mass email or newsletter to site members. Newsletters give members a reminder to visit the website and helps increase communication and strengthen the relationship with the organization. Use this option to send reunion reminders to a certain class or inform alumni of a major event.
